Getting the basics right

Property management isn't rocket science however f you dont get the basics right, there's little point doing much else.


To help ensure this we set out the following basic customer service principles, which let you know what to expect - and give our staff clear benchmarks to work towards

  • Our Accounts team will pay your rent to you within two days of receiving it. Any of your money which we do hold will be kept in a designated client account.
  • Our local Lettings Negotiators will make themselves available for viewings on your property until 7.00 pm during the week, and between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm on Saturdays.
  • We will provide a free annual tax return on all income expenditure for all Landlords with more than one property.
  • Our Administration Centre will always call you back on the same day you contact them.
  • Our Letting Negotiators will only take appropriate tenants to view your property
  • The Property Manager in your local branch will check your property every 6 months.
  • We will update you quickly and regularly on any relevant events in your property, and will notify you immediately if your tenant fails to pay your rent. If your property is vacant our local branch will call you at least once a week to discuss their marketing strategy.
  • If we do make a mistake, and no one is perfect, we’ll accept responsibility and work to rectify it as quickly as possible
