Rent collection

If you don't want to collect your tenants rent or hold their deposit, but have your own contractors who can take care of general repairs - we offer a highly cost effective collection service as a bolt-on option.

We’ll:

  • Find and reference the tenants. Collect and remit their initial payment
  • Continue to collect the rent for the duration of the tenancy. We have less than 1% rent arrears with the tenants we currently collect from
  • Pay the rent to you each month with an accompanying monthly statement
  • Administer the tenants deposit at the start and end of the tenancy. We’re registered with the DPS
  • Deal with HMRC on your behalf if you’re overseas

Our tenant find service is excellent value for money

Also, If we’re instructed to collect your tenants rent, we’ll spread your fees out over a number of months as opposed to taking them all out at once

Richard Dowton 

Richard is a Hackney Resident (London Fields) and has nearly a decade’s experience in lettings and property management. He first started with Countrywide Residential in 2005 where he managed a national portfolio of properties mainly owned by banks and mortgage lenders.

His career then took him to London, where he spent over two years looking after a renewals portfolio worth around £1m a year for a large independent – before being moved to the front office of their flagship branch. An obvious aptitude for the front-end of agency quickly led to a promotion to branch manager of their Balham office, where Richard’s assured stewardship saw growth of over 25% in the first year.

We recruited Richard as he’s got great senior level experience, is a safe pair of hands, and has a refreshingly no-nonsense approach.
